2. Placing an Order
By placing an order through our website or in store, you confirm that:
- You are at least 16 years of age.
- All information you provide (name, address, phone number, email) is accurate and complete.
- You are authorised to use the payment method provided.
Once you submit an order online, you will receive an email confirmation. This confirmation is an acknowledgement that we have received your order — it does not constitute acceptance. We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order, for example if an item is unavailable or if we are unable to fulfil delivery to your address.
Orders are only accepted during our published opening hours. Orders placed outside of these hours will be processed when we next open.
3. Prices & Payment
All prices displayed on our website and menu are in Pounds Sterling (£) and include VAT where applicable. We reserve the right to change prices at any time without prior notice; however, the price charged will always be the price shown at the time your order was confirmed.
Payments are processed securely through Stripe, a third-party payment processor. We do not store your card details on our systems. By providing your payment information, you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service.
A delivery fee may apply depending on your distance from our shop. This will be clearly shown before you confirm your order. Free delivery thresholds may apply and are subject to change.
4. Delivery & Collection
Click & Collect: Orders placed for collection will be ready within the estimated time shown at checkout. Please bring your order confirmation when collecting.
Local Delivery: We deliver within our stated service radius from 331 Doncaster Road, Dalton, Rotherham. The current service area and delivery charges are shown at checkout and may be updated from time to time. We cannot guarantee delivery to all postcodes even within the stated radius.
Estimated delivery times are provided as a guide only. We are not liable for delays caused by traffic, weather, or other circumstances beyond our control.
If you are not available to receive your delivery and we cannot reach you by phone, we may leave your order in a safe place at our discretion. We accept no liability for orders that are left and subsequently lost or deteriorate in quality.
5. Cancellations & Refunds
As all of our products are freshly prepared to order, we are generally unable to accept cancellations once preparation has begun.
If you wish to cancel an order, please contact us immediately by phone or WhatsApp at +44 1709 511080. If preparation has not yet started, we will do our best to accommodate your request.
We will offer a full refund or replacement in the following circumstances:
- Your order was incorrect due to our error.
- Your order was not delivered and no satisfactory alternative was arranged.
- A product was of unsatisfactory quality (please contact us within 30 minutes of receipt with photographic evidence).
Refunds will be returned to the original payment method within 5–10 working days. We do not offer refunds simply due to a change of mind once an order has been prepared.
6. Allergens & Dietary Information
Our products may contain or come into contact with allergens including milk, soya, gluten, eggs, nuts, and sesame. We offer dairy-free milk alternatives upon request, but we cannot guarantee that any product is completely free from any allergen due to our kitchen environment.

By placing an order, you confirm that you have reviewed the allergen information and accept that we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.
7. Accounts & Security
When you create an account on our website, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You must notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or close accounts that are used fraudulently or in breach of these terms.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including our logo, branding, text, photography, and design — is the property of Pearla Tea 茶 and is protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without our prior written consent.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pearla Tea 茶 shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of our website or products. Our total liability to you in respect of any order shall not exceed the value of that order.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
